Joe Perry Releases 4-Song Christmas EP

Coming off the release of his New York Times best-selling memoir, ROCKS: My Life In and Out of Aerosmith, Joe Perry has just released Joe Perry’s Merry Christmas.
Perry’s first-ever collection of holiday songs features four Christmas classics: “White Christmas,” “Silent Night,” “Santa Claus Is Back In Town” and “Run Run Rudolph” with Johnny Depp on rhythm guitar.

Aerosmith and more: Joe Perry’s story, his way

During his nearly 45-year tenure with Aerosmith, Joe Perry has enjoyed gold and platinum records, No. 1 albums, No. 1 singles and Grammy Awards. He’s hit the charts in a different fashion this fall, however.

The guitarist published his autobiography, “Rocks: My Life In and Out of Aerosmith” (Simon & Schuster) in early October and watched it debut at No. 8 on the New York Times best-seller list. Joe Perry is ready to talk. The laid-back Aerosmith guitarist forged a career writing iconic riffs — think: “Walk This Way,” “Love in an Elevator” — that fueled worldwide sales of over 150 million records and spawned 21 U.S. Top 40 hits and four Grammy Awards. Aerosmith also earned a spot in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
