Pearl Jam kicked off a two-night stand at Boston’s Fenway Park Friday night with a 32-song concert that featured the band performing, for the first time, “Draw the Line” by hometown heroes Aerosmith.

“That was for Joe Perry. We’re thinking about you,” Vedder told the Boston crowd after their rendition of the 1977 single. In July, Perry collapsed onstage during a Hollywood Vampires concert in Brooklyn; two weeks later, he rejoined the supergroup.
